What is Turmeric Root Extract?

Curcuma aromatic (yujin) is one of three main species pertaining to the genus Curcuma; it is often 

simply referred to by its common name, Curcuma. The word "yujin" is Chinese and derives from

 "yu," meaning "stagnancy and restraint, " and "jin," which references an association with the lungs, 

as Curcuma's earliest use was for aiding stagnancy of the lungs.
